“Why?” It’s the question that echoes through pain, loss, and moments we never saw coming. It’s the question we whisper in the dark, even when we’re afraid of the silence that might follow. Job asked it. Jesus asked it. And maybe you have too. There may never be a satisfying answer this side of heaven. But God doesn’t shame the question. He meets us in it. Sometimes, His comfort comes not in clarity but in closeness. And in that sacred space, we find that even without answers, we are not abandoned.

What unspoken “why” have I carried in my heart?

How do I respond when God doesn’t explain the things I long to understand?

Prayer

God, I bring You my questions, even the ones I’m afraid to speak. I may never get the answers I want, but I believe You can handle my pain and my wondering. Help me trust Your heart, even when I don’t understand Your ways.
