Gazing out our living room window I am at rest as I watch the birds fly to and fro between the trees. A smile graces my face as the word hidden in my heart bursts forth from within, "...they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" Matthew 6:26 ESV. Today I am reminded of the powerful story that the birds of the air carry. If we quiet ourselves long enough, we can hear creations witness proclaiming His majesty.

No matter what type of 'bird' you are or what stage of life you are in, the foundation which outlasts any storm is contained in the word of God. The winds will blow, the gusts will come, the storm will rage, but if your roots go deep!! And your tree stands strong and firm in Him, you will withstand the wind and the rain and the gusts that blow. The narrative of our lives change like the seasons, but the constant of the Father, our King, lasts forever and ever and ever AMEN!
