Watch how you build! Is your foundation sure? Can it stand the test of time or will it crumble under pressure taking you along with it?

I’m reminded of a story I wrote about a young lady whose faith was built on things which wouldn’t last; money, family legacy ,education, her own long held beliefs rooted in self, just to name a few. When tragedy struck her foundations of faith buckled under the pressure taking her along with it. When all seemed lost, our Fathers redemptive invitation came when she found herself standing in the silence on the red carpet, staring up at the pulpit, wondering if answers might still reside there. As she closed her eyes, the faint whispers of years past drifted through her mind; worship songs, sermons, echoes of prayers once prayed. And then, without warning, she fell to her knees in sweet surrender.

This marked the beginning of her rebuilding on the only firm foundation.
